Police are looking for a driver who fatally struck a pedestrian in Santa Ana on Monday morning and fled, April 24.
The man was walking east on City Place Drive when he was hit by a car heading north on Main Street, said Sgt. Maria Lopez, a spokeswoman for Santa Ana police.
Police, after receiving a 5:34 a.m. call, found the man lying on the road. He died at the scene.
Authorities had not yet publicly identified him.
According to preliminary information, Lopez said, the suspect was driving a white sedan.
