A Laguna Hills landlord and one of his tenants were sentenced on Friday, Aug. 13 to five years in prison for molesting 7-year-old girls from the neighborhood.
Tomas L. Fabian, 52, pleaded guilty June 29 of last year to sexually assaulting two 7-year-old girls.
Co-defendant Cleta Angeles Trejo, 60, who rented a room in Fabian’s home, pleaded guilty the same date to sexually assaulting another 7-year-old girl.
Fabian pleaded guilty to four felony counts of lewd or lascivious acts on a minor younger than 14, according to court records.
Trejo pleaded guilty to six felony counts of lewd or lascivious acts on a minor younger than 14, according to court records.
The victims lived in the neighborhood, according to authorities.
Fabian has been in custody since May 2018. Trejo has been in custody since April 2018.
