Saturday, April 29 is World Veterinary Day so we have a look America’s pet population and the doctors who care for them.

Most of the information below is from the American Veterinary Medical Association’s 2022 pet ownership and demographics sourcebook.

 

According to a study by the Psychology Today, 81% of pet owners know their pets’ birthday, and 77% have celebrated by buying their pet a present.
