Man dies after getting stabbed on pedestrian bridge in Fullerton

A 20-year-old man was stabbed to death on a pedestrian bridge crossing over Harbor Boulevard in Fullerton early Monday morning, Aug. 30, police said.

A person called police after they found the man at around 4:40 a.m. on the bridge, at Harbor and Walnut Avenue, Fullerton police said. He had one stab wound to his abdomen and was dead when officers arrived, Sgt. Brandon Clyde said.

It appeared that the man was stabbed on the bridge sometime in the early morning hours, Clyde said.

His name had not yet been released. The stabbing’s motive was unclear.
