LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office on Saturday confirmed the death of Jordan Feldstein, the brother of actor Jonah Hill and manager of the rock group Maroon 5.
Feldstein’s time of death was 9:13 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, said Lt. Dave Smith of the coroner’s office.
Variety, citing the Feldstein family, reported the cause of death as a heart attack. Feldstein reportedly called 911 Friday night and complained of shortness of breath. He died shortly after paramedics arrived, the family told Variety.
The 40-year-old father of two was married twice, once to Francesca Eastwood in 2013, the daughter of Clint Eastwood. The marriage was annulled, Variety reported.
Feldstein got his start in the music industry by working for ICM and Bill Leopold management. He and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine were childhood friends, with Feldstein managing the band from its inception.
He founded management company Career Artist Management, which was based out of the Live Nation offices in Beverly Hills. In addition to Maroon 5, the CAM roster included Robin Thicke, Miguel and Elle King.
