Crews extinguish large commercial fire in Yorba Linda

A fire at a commercial building broke out Friday, Nov. 25 in Yorba Linda, drawing roughly 80 firefighters to the scene, officials said.

The fire was first reported just after 5 p.m. inside a business in the 22800 block of Savi Ranch Parkway.

When firefighters arrived, there were flames going through the roof of the building, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Sean Doran said. Two units in the business center were severely damaged, and two neighboring units were also affected.

Knockdown was declared just over two hours after the fire was first reported.

One man was treated and transported to a local hospital for a smoke inhalation injury. The cause of the fire is  under investigation.
