NEWPORT COAST >> The Newport Beach Fire Department responded to a three-vehicle crash on Saturday, Dec. 16 at the intersection of Newport Coast Drive and Pelican Hill Road.
The first units to arrive on scene at shortly after 9:12 a.m. found three vehicles involved in the accident, including one vehicle that had landed on its roof.
One person had to be extricated from a vehicle. Two people were taken to the hospital.
The accident is under investigation. No further information was immediately available.
