A pickup truck hit the garage of a house in Brea early Monday as a teenage driver and friends tried to flee after throwing toilet paper at another home, police said.
The crash, which took place at about 12:40 a.m. in the 700 block of West Oakcrest Avenue, did not involve a driver being under the influence but speeding may have played a role, authorities said.
No injuries were reported, according to police, but there was damage to some of the home’s utility lines.
The Brea police traffic division was investigating the crash.
