A suspect was shot and wounded while investigators with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and La Habra police served a search warrant at a house in Seal Beach on Wednesday, Feb. 7, authorities said.
The agencies served the warrant in the 3500 block of Columbine Street in the College Park East neighborhood, just north of the 405 Freeway, around 6 a.m., Seal Beach police said.
The wounded person was identified as a suspect, but further information was not released yet by Homeland Security officials. The suspect’s condition was unknown.
What led to the shooting and why the suspect was wanted were not immediately known.
