A small earthquake on Monday morning, Sept. 21, slightly rattled Riverside and Orange counties.
The magnitude-3.4 temblor struck at 6:20 a.m. at a depth of about 4.9 miles.
Its epicenter was 6.4 miles northwest of Lake Elsinore in Riverside County, and 10.9 miles northeast of Rancho Santa Margarita, according to a computer-generated U.S. Geological Survey report.
There were no immediate reports of damages, and none were expected in the aftermath of such a small temblor.
