Landscape designer and ceramic artist Dustin Gimbel said he created the pieces after a career in horticulture, mixing his fascination with plants with a recent obsession with ceramics.
This is Gimbal’s first solo exhibition and he describes it as an explosion and celebration of plants.
The sculptures are mixed in with the natural landscape of Sherman Gardens and signs explain the inspiration behind each piece.
The show runs through Sept. 15. Sherman Gardens is requiring ticket reservations online to ensure there is room for social distancing and proper sanitation. Get more information at thesherman.org.
