A 31-year-old man was killed in a possible gang shooting as he sat in a vehicle in Santa Ana early Sunday morning, police said.
He was found around 2:50 a.m. on the 1400 block of South Main Street, near St. Anne Catholic Church. The victim, identified as Santa Ana resident Angel Fregoso, suffered a gunshot wound to his upper torso and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, and further details were unavailable on Sunday afternoon..
