Only one lane will be open on the northbound 5 from midnight Thursday, May 10 to 6 a.m. Friday, May 11 between Artesia Boulevard and Valley View Avenue in the La Mirada-Buena Park area, according to Caltrans.
Crews will be installing K-rail, the agency said. Motorists can get around the lane closure by exiting at Artesia Boulevard, heading west on Carmenita Road and then rejoining the freeway. Another alternative route is the westbound 91 to the northbound 605.
