A big rig overturned and spilled a large load of hay onto the westbound 91 Freeway at the Riverside-Corona border Friday morning, Oct. 9, prompting the closure of all but one lane of the freeway.
The crash was reported at 6:10 a.m. west of McKinley Street.
Only the right lane was open. The westbound onramp at McKinley also was closed.
At about 8:20 a.m., Caltrans said the lanes would be closed for three or four hours.
The cause of the crash was not immediately available.
