FULLERTON – Crews quickly contained a vegetation fire Wednesday night in a residential area in Fullerton.
Firefighters from several agencies responded shortly after 7 p.m. to reports of a vegetation fire behind a home in the 900 block of West Laguna Road, said Chief Kathy Schaefer, a Fullerton Fire Department division chief.

Fullerton fire crews, with help from Brea, Garden Grove, Orange County Fire Authority and Los Angeles fire fighters contained the blaze in less than an hour, holding it to under an acre, Schaefer said.
One shed was burned, but no homes were reported damage, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire wasn’t immediately known.
