Coronavirus: California has 84 new deaths and 9,113 new cases on July 27

California had at least 9,113 new cases of the coronavirus and 84 new deaths reported as of Monday, July 27, according to unofficial counts from county websites. Several counties did not report their numbers Monday.

That raises the state’s total cases to 459,906 since reporting began, and 8,529 people have died.

The California Department of Public Health’s dashboard showed there were 8,419 people hospitalized in the state as of July 26.

Not all counties reported on Monday. Figures are subject to change.
