A memorial service for Aiden Leos, the 6-year-old boy shot and killed on the 55 Freeway in Orange on May 21 in what authorities say was a road rage incident, is underway on Saturday, June 5.
The family has received an outpouring of support from the community, and the service at an Orange County church is being streamed live.
The reward to catch the boy’s killer reached $500,000 on Friday. There was nothing new to announce on the investigation Friday afternoon, said Officer Florentino Olivera, a California Highway Patrol spokesman.
