Watch live: NTSB report on Kobe Bryant helicopter crash

Federal safety officials are expected to announce on Tuesday morning the probable cause of the Southern California helicopter crash last year that killed nine people including basketball legend Kobe Bryant.

The meeting of the National Transportation Safety Board was scheduled to begin at 6:30 a.m. Pacific time. It will be webcast to the public, with the board members and investigative staff meeting virtually. Click here if the video embedded above does not display.

The Jan. 26, 2020, crash near Calabasas, California, of a Sikorsky S-76B helicopter killed Bryant; his 13-year-old daughter Gianna; 14-year-old Alyssa Altobelli and her parents, John and Keri; 13-year-old Payton Chester and her mother, Sarah; basketball coach Christina Mauser; and pilot Ara Zobayan.
