Visit Stone Cold Fox Pop-Up Before it’s Gone at the End of December

With a round window surrounded by white brick looking out to white-linen beach chairs and shop dog, Buns, lying out front greeting guests, L.A.-based women’s label Stone Cold Fox has made itself at home at Lido Marina Village. “I can’t imagine anything else in this spot, because we just fit so well here,” shop manager Chaunty Heggtveit says.

Step inside and the relaxed beach vibe continues with black-and-white photos, a bamboo couch, and greenery throughout the store. Browse racks filled with silk in various colors, gingham pieces, and soon-to-come home goods, linens, and intimates lines. “We carry more product here because we have a bigger space,” Heggtveit says.

Most pieces tend to sell out quickly, but nothing goes as fast as the Hepburn Dress ($250). “We can’t keep it in stock at all,” Heggtveit says. “It’s so flattering on every body type, and you just feel effortless in it.”

Unless items are in high demand, don’t expect to see them the next time you visit, as the store receives new collections regularly. Once an item sells out, it might not return.

No longer doing wholesale, Stone Cold Fox now sells its products strictly online or at its Venice and Newport Beach stores. The best part? “All our pricing, except our wedding line, is below $300,” Heggtveit says. “It works better for our customers, and they still get the same amazing product.”
