A downed pole reported about 5 a.m. Monday was expected to keep a couple of lanes closed on the 710 Freeway in the Long Beach area, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A SIG Alert was declared at 5:04 a.m. for northbound 710 Freeway just south of Long Beach Boulevard, where the No. 4 and 5 lanes were blocked by the downed poll.
The lanes were expected to be closed for an hour, the CHP said.
