The crowds may have been smaller than usual for the 2022 Rose Parade, but the floral-covered floats driving down Colorado Blvd drew in big impressions from people watching at home.
With some familiar floats like Trader Joe’s and some first-time floats like “The Bachelor,” these were the most talked-about on social media. But first, here’s a general summary of this year’s float order:
My favorite part of the #RoseParade so far is that the White Jesus float was followed by The Bachelor float, followed by a huge, superloud AMC float with inexplicable dog and cat mascots watching Marvel trailers. Just pure, uncut America, babyyyyyy

These were the top five float moments, according to Twitter.
1. “The Bachelor” float made its debut at the Rose Parade with an appearance from the season’s new bachelor, Clayton Echard and new host Jesse Palmer. The float is a scaled-down version of the exotic Villa De La Vina, where the show is filmed. It was met with confusion on social media.
the bachelor have to do with the theme of the parade? #RoseParade

By the way #BachelorNation, is #TheBachelor float at the #RoseParade the most dramatic parade float ever made? pic.twitter.com/vaopJQfDhN

2. AMC’s “We Make Movies Better” float recreated a movie theater, complete with a working big-screen showing some 2022 movie trailers. This received praise not only on social media but those watching the parade in person.
Watching the Rose Parade. Here’s the AMC float driving past, showing trailers and previews for new movies coming out in 2022.
Husband, watches for a moment.
“AMC: PLEASE COME BACK TO US.”
My guy has a real gift for capturing the essence of an experience.

3. Halfway through the parade was a performance of “Born on the Bayou” from the Hot 8 Brass Band and singer Laine Hardy, who won Season 17 of “American Idol.” Hardy was aboard the Louisiana “Feed Your Soul” float which impressed Twitter users.

Love that the @LouisianaTravel Rise Parade float presentation ended with an explosion of streamers, proving that if ya want a parade done right, it’s gotta be from Louisiana!

4. The Masked Singer, “Anything Can Happen,” float also made an impression for its theme, but most notably an appearance from singer Dionne Warwick, with a funny moment caught on camera.

Having @dionnewarwick on the #RoseParade “Masked Singer” float is exactly the kind of energy this year needs.
