Pedestrian killed on 22 Freeway in Westminster

A man was killed Saturday night, July 3 when he was struck by a vehicle while walking in the center divider of the 22 Freeway in Westminster.

He was identified as Trung Tram, 38, according to the Orange County coroner’s office. His city of residence was not available.

Tram was found on the eastbound 22 Freeway at Brookhurst Street around 9 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. He died at the scene.

It was not clear why he was on the freeway. Details about the crash were not available.
