Orange County will warm up for the weekend

Temperatures won’t reach the advisory levels seen last weekend, but residents in inland Orange County areas can still expect highs in the 90s this Saturday and Sunday.

High pressure over the desert will expand a bit into California, leading temperatures to warm in Orange County, said Dan Gregoria, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service. Coastal areas will see highs in the mid-70s to mid-80s, while cities inland such as Fullerton and Yorba Linda will likely see the mercury rise into the 90s.

Coastal areas may get some clouds, mainly in the morning. But Gregoria said most areas will be sunny during the afternoon.

Temperatures will cool a bit by early next week, Gregoria said.
