Orange County gets $23.1 million in Project Homekey funds to turn motels into homeless housing-media-2

The Stanton Inn & Suites, shown here in September, was one of several motels and hotels in Orange County used as part of the Project Roomkey program to place vulnerable homeless people in safe living quarters at the height of the coronavirus pandemic. The program ends in October at most of those sites. The Stanton Inn & Suites on Katella Avenue will transition into permanent supportive housing.
