A 23-year-old motorcyclist who died after hitting a parked truck in Buena Park earlier this week has been identified by the Orange County Coroner’s Office as Daniel Corwin of Downey.
The crash was reported Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 2:53 a.m. near La Palma and Western avenues, Buena Park Police Sgt. Mike Lovchik said.
“Initial investigation indicated the motorcyclist had been traveling westbound on La Palma Avenue and ran into a stake-bed truck, which had an illuminated traffic directional sign, in a posted construction zone,” Lovchik said.
No construction workers at the scene were injured, he said.
