A man was in critical condition after he was shot in the head in a Garden Grove home and two men were detained for questioning by police Friday, Sept. 10, authorities said.
Police found the victim, 36, inside the home after responding to a call of gunshots in the 14000 block of Clinton Street, an area with multiple apartment complexes, about 4:40 p.m., Sgt. Evan Beresford said.
Officers attempted life-saving measures before paramedics took him to a hospital, Beresford said.
During the investigation, police identified two people of interest and found them in Santa Ana, Beresford said. The two people were being questioned. It was unknown, specifically, when or where they were found or how they were linked to the shooting.
They were not named as suspects by police.
Further information about the victim was not disclosed by police.
