Major Orange County freeway closures planned: June 27-July 3

Here are major construction project closures happening on Orange County’s freeways and toll roads between June 27 and July 3, according to the Orange County Transportation Authority, Caltrans and the Transportation Corridor Agencies.

5 Freeway

Northbound carpool lane between Grand Avenue and State Route 57 and southbound carpool lane between Bristol Street/La Veta Avenue and First Street:

• Scheduled to remain closed through the end of June

Northbound left lanes between First and Fourth streets and State Route 22:

• Nightly through Saturday, June 27

Southbound off-ramp to Bristol Street/La Veta Avenue:

• Nightly through Saturday, June 27

Southbound connector to the eastbound State Route 91:

• 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday, June 27

Northbound connector to the 405/5 junction:

• 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday, June 27

55 Freeway

The left lane of the northbound on-ramp from McFadden Street:

• 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, June 27

57 Freeway

Southbound State Route 57 carpool connector to southbound 5 Freeway:

• Nightly through Saturday, June 27

91 Freeway

Westbound left lane between Anaheim Boulevard and Magnolia Avenue:

• 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27

405 Freeway

Between Goldenwest and Edwards streets:

• 10 p.m. Saturday, June 27, to 9 a.m. Sunday, June 28

Northbound off-ramp to Seal Beach Boulevard:

• Scheduled to close for approximately one month on Monday, June 29

Northbound loop on-ramp from Goldenwest Street:

• Scheduled to reopen on Friday, Oct. 2

Southbound between Warner Avenue and Brookhurst Street:

• 10 p.m. Friday, June 26, to 5:30 a.m. Saturday, June 27

Southbound between Brookhurst and Euclid streets:

• Nightly closures began week of June 22 for approximately two weeks

Southbound at Westminster Boulevard:

• Nightly closures beginning Monday, June 29, for approximately two weeks

Northbound loop off-ramp to Westminster Boulevard:

• Closed in April for approximately one year

Southbound on-ramp from Edinger Avenue:

• Scheduled to reopen Thursday, July 2

OC Streetcar

Detours, temporary lane closures and parking restrictions are expected daily on Fairview Street, West Santa Ana Boulevard, Flower Street, by Sasscer Park, East Santa Ana Boulevard, French Street and Lacy Street.
