Major Orange County freeway closures planned: July 25-31

Here are major construction project closures happening on Orange County’s freeways and toll roads between July 25 and July 31, according to the Orange County Transportation Authority, Caltrans and the Transportation Corridor Agencies.

5 Freeway

Northbound connector to 55 Freeway:

• 4 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25

22 Freeway

Eastbound on-ramps from The City Drive:

• 4 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday, July 26

405 Freeway

Between Goldenwest and Springdale streets:

• 10 p.m. Saturday, July 25, to 9 a.m. Sunday, July 26

Southbound loop off-ramp to Beach Boulevard:

• Scheduled to permanently close in early August

Heil Avenue pedestrian bridge:

• Scheduled to close in early August

Northbound loop on-ramp from northbound Beach Boulevard and northbound off-ramp to northbound Beach Boulevard:

• Scheduled to reopen in mid-August

Northbound between Euclid and Brookhurst streets:

• Weeknights through Friday, Aug. 7

Northbound off-ramp to Seal Beach Boulevard:

• Scheduled reopen on Wednesday, July 29

Northbound loop off-ramp to Westminster Boulevard:

• Expected to reopen in April

Northbound loop on-ramp from Goldenwest Street:

• Scheduled to reopen on Friday, Oct. 2

OC Streetcar

Detours, temporary lane closures and parking restrictions are expected daily on Fairview Street, 5th Street, Harbor Boulevard, West Santa Ana Boulevard, Broadway, East Santa Ana Boulevard, French Street, Minter Street, Garfield Street and Santiago Street.
