La Quinta man’s bound body found in Woodland Hills home; suspects sought

Police were seeking the public’s help to identify the killer of a 42-year-old La Quinta man whose bound body was found at a residence in the San Fernando Valley.

Los Angeles Police Department officers were called about 5:30 p.m. Thursday to the residence in the 20200 block of Ventura Boulevard, near Taft High School, in Woodland Hills on reports of a battery and found the man dead at the scene with his feet tied together and his hands cuffed behind his back, according to a department statement.

Police also found the man had strangulation marks on his neck.

The man’s name was not released, though the LAPD noted he was a 42-year-old resident of La Quinta.

An investigation into the man’s death revealed he had been staying at the residence since July 2021, though no further details were immediately available.
