SANTA ANA — An 84-year-old Irvine man was due in court Friday on charges of sexually assaulting a woman who was renting a room in his house.
Hossein Masoudfar faces two felony counts each of sexual battery and sexual penetration by a foreign object, stemming from alleged attacks on July 14, 2016, and May 7 of this year, according to court records.
The 36-year-old alleged victim was the defendant’s tenant, according to Deputy District Attorney Heidi Garrel.
Masoudfar, who was charged Nov. 16, was arrested Wednesday and faces up to 13 years in prison if convicted.
