A homeless man was found stabbed to death Wednesday in an Anaheim field where he was believed to be living, police said.
At 9:20 a.m., a passerby called the Anaheim Police Department about a possible dead body in a field in the area of Phoenix Club Drive and Sanderson Avenue, police said. Responding officers found 53-year-old Jason Randall Dahl in the field and confirmed that he had perished, authorities said.
Dahl was found to have suffered at least one stab wound, police said.
No suspect information was immediately available. The circumstances leading to the killing were not immediately clear.
