The Orange County Health Care Agency reported 267 new cases of the coronavirus on Tuesday, Nov.10, increasing the cumulative total to 62,830 cases.
An estimated 3,617 cases have been recorded in the last 14 days.
Three new deaths were reported by the county on Tuesday, raising the total number of reported deaths to 1,512.
Of the cumulative 1,512 deaths reported from the virus, 578 were skilled nursing facility residents, 120 were in assisted living facilities and five were listed as homeless.
The county’s breakdown of deaths by age is as follows:
85 and older: 32% (494)75-84: 22% (327)65-74: 20% (299)55-64: 14% (209)45-54: 8% (117)35-44: 3% (39)25-34: 1.3% (21)18-24: <.3% (5)17 and younger: 0% (1)

It is estimated about 89% of the cumulative reported cases, or 55,330 people as of Tuesday, have recovered. The count of people who have recovered is based on the prior 28-day cumulative case count.
The county update reported 1,197,862 tests have been given for the coronavirus since testing began locally, with at least 7,130 tests reported in the last 24 hours.
The county also reported 224 patients in hospitals with the coronavirus on Tuesday, 19 more than the previous day’s report. There were 79 patients listed in ICUs.
Data posted each day is preliminary and subject to change, officials emphasize. More information may become available as individual case investigations are completed.
