ALISO VIEJO — Orange County Fire Authority firefighters stopped the forward progress of a small brush fire that charred about two acres of grass Saturday in Aliso Viejo.

The fire started near the intersection of Pacific Park Drive and Alicia Parkway, and was reported at 2:15 p.m., according to the OCFA.
The fire was knocked down about 4:15 p.m., the OCFA reported.
No structures were threatened and no injuries reported.
OCFA crews will remain at the scene to mop up and extinguish any hot spots.
