Two blood drives are planned in the city in the new year to help replenish the American Red Cross’ supplies. From noon to 6 p.m. donations will be collected at Walmart, 1340 S. Beach Blvd. And on Jan. 12, from noon to 6 p.m. a blood drive is planned at Sonora High, 401 S. Palm St. Make an appointment at redcrossblood.org or 800-733-2767.
