A possibly gang-related shooting in a residential area of Anaheim left one person dead on Sunday, March 3.
Officers responded at about 3:30 p.m. to reports of a homicide that took place on the 1800 block of West Dogwood Avenue, according to Anaheim Police Sgt. Daron Wyatt. He said one male victim had suffered at least one gunshot wound and was declared dead at the scene.
Investigators believe the killing may have been gang-related, but shared few other details. Information regarding the victim’s identity was not immediately released.
