TUSTIN The City Council unanimously voted to name Al Murray, previously the mayor pro tem, as mayor at the Tuesday, Dec. 5, meeting.
The one-year position is usually determined by rotation. Murray was elected to the council in 2009 and served as mayor in 2012 and 2013. He replaces Allan Bernstein, who returns to his role as a council member.
