Seven boats were burned during a fire that broke out at Dana Point Harbor on Thursday morning, Feb. 18, the Orange County Fire Authority said.
The fire, which created a large plume of black smoke, started at around 9:35 a.m. and was extinguished by 10 a.m. One person was assessed by paramedics, but they declined to be treated or transported to the hospital, OCFA Capt. Thanh Nguyen said.
What started the fire and the extent of the damage to the boats was not immediately clear.
