3.6 earthquake near Mira Loma rattles parts of Southern California

Portions of Southern California rumbled momentarily Saturday morning as a 3.6 earthquake struck near Mira Loma, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake was reported just before 10:05 a.m. with the epicenter near the 60 and 15 Freeways, according to the agency. It had a depth of just over 11 kilometers.

The temblor was felt in portions of Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
