Two people were killed late Saturday when their vehicle caught fire during a crash on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Seal Beach, authorities said.
The crash on the southbound freeway, at the Seal Beach Boulevard offramp, was reported at 11:52 p.m. Saturday, the California Highway Patrol reported. Two people were pronounced dead at the scene.
The CHP said at least two vehicles were involved in the crash.
All lanes of the southbound freeway were cleared at 3:33 a.m.
No further information was immediately available Sunday morning.
