A 15-year-old boy was shot to death and a second person was wounded in a parking lot at the Montclair Place mall on Thursday night, Feb. 2.
Montclair Sgt. Andy Graziano told reporters at the scene that police were still looking for the shooter.
The attack happened at about 8:10 p.m. and apparently stemmed from an altercation between two people. They separated, and then the shooting happened.
One victim died at a hospital and the second showed up at a hospital on his own. That person underwent surgery, Graziano said.
